What is LCA's most impressive win so far this season?
They beat a team from Indiana called Vincennes Lincoln. Good looking team and they won 41-21 over them.
-
Can't speak for Danville because I have not seen them but LCA is legit. They can put up alot of points and their no huddle offense limits your defense capabilities. They run a very efficient offense.
-
Seems to be KCD's depth is just not there. Very good team though, LCA just too much offense.
-
Yeah just on another level than Owen right now.
-
Please explain the reasoning behind your prediction. Owen has been playing well, especially on defense. WV may win, but I doubt it will be a blowout.
I have seen both teams play and WV is on another level then Owen is at this point in their respective histories.
-
LCA is a very good football team.
-
Bearcats come back big over Owen. They name the score in this one.
-
Not enough depth and too much offense for KCD. LCA by bunches.
-
Huge task ahead for the Bearcats. No slow starts or they could find themselves down by an insurmountable amount.
-
Nice win on a cold rainy night.
-
Once again they had a bad first half of football but this time it cost them. Need to regroup and prepare for their first home game against Holmes.
-
Walton forgot to get off the bus and the first quarter was ugly. After that they never looked back. Nice to see Air Barth get some wings tonight and take off alittle.
-
Sad to hear this news but I know he will use this as a motivator to come back and be ready for Pro Day at UK!
-
WV by two scores.
-
For the kids' sake, I hope that they do, I love it when smaller squads get a chance to go toe-to-toe w/ deeper teams. What is the depth like overall? The Western teams are so loaded with depth that it is tough to match up to.
They are fairly deep for a 2A team. I think that this is the most talented class as a whole that I have seen at WV. I think they have the potential to throw the ball much more than in any previous seasons.
-
WV has a chance to do big things this year with a QB that can spin it and with several large receivers. Air Barth looks to take off! Could be a big year if they can avoid injury.
-
Maybe surprised to know that WV is going to throw the ball a bit more than the past. They have three receivers 6'2" and over. Their QB this year can really spin it too so there maybe a new wrinkle to this traditionally run heavy offense.
-
I was told by an attendee at the game that as a RB King is just too small to be effective against good competition. Maybe my source felt he was not elusive enough to overcome his size. Anyone else have any feelings on this?
Disagree with this. SiFi is going to be just fine as demonstrated in the Tennessee game last year. He and AJ Rose will probably be the change of pace back from Benny.
-
The training facilities at Lindner are highest level. Edge to Craft for being a permanent indoor structure. Very little difference otherwise...
Have you been to UK's?
-
They will be just fine.
-
They need to make sure they get all the pieces back from last year. I heard they also have a big freshman class coming in and a couple that my help right off.
-
They won't have as much size as they had last year.
Yes, but I think that they make up for it with athleticism. A lot more play-makers to mention on defense and offense. I think this year for the first time ever there will be a battle for QB with several different players having a real shot at it.
-
The Junior class is very strong. They return almost everyone from last years team and have the potential to be the best team since 2012.
-
Of course, you thought the same thing last year, but, imo, OB Cath and Mayfield were both better, certainly, as good.. I also think the east side is getting stronger and Danville, LCA and NCC should all be very good.. I also look for Murray, Somerset and Holy Cross to be pretty strong and capable of beating anyone on a given night. Lloyd Mem, Leslie Co, Glasgow and Prestonsburg should be pretty decent, as well. If I were to rank them pre-season, I'd probably go something like this:
1) CAL
2) Danville
3) Desales
4) Mayfield
5) OB Cath
6) LCA
7) NCC
8) Holy Cross
9) Somerset
10) Murray
11) Glasgow
12) Leslie Co
13) Lloyd Mem
14) P'Burg
15) Monroe Co
Need to put Walton on the list fellas. They return just about everyone and have talented junior, sophomore and freshman classes. They got better and better as the season went on as evidenced against Holy Cross in the playoffs.
