  1. Thank you Ram. Now we finally have proof of my statement above. Can Raceland send this to the KHSAA to possibly get something done about this deceptive practice ? I am not sure if they have any regulations on this (teams film exchange).

I would imagine the policy board might be a good place to start.

  2. I was there for the birth of Clinton County football around 2005/2006 as a student at Cumberland’s officiating games, me and a couple of other guys were sent there non stop for a JV only schedule that first year. This year is the first year of kids to go all through school with the high school having a team, it’s way too early to say time to fold up, you ask me they are just now finding their stride!

  3. See! Even when someone has film on Bye, it isn't helpful!!

Bye clearly edits the tapes of them that make it out to not let too much get away. What is sad about this is the fact that Bye won’t even let the other team film them. They keep absolute control of who has what of their game field. It’s in the contract to play everytime. You ask me, Julian needs to step in and do something about this NOW!!!

  4. This was a good ol' good one. Now the anticipation can start building toward the inevitable playoff rematch.

If Hazard takes that attitude they very well could get beat at Williamsburg in the second round. Hazard will be favored over the Burg, but if they go in overlooking them it will not be a good night for them.

  5. I'm starting to believe that the officials are hearing the chatter and are paranoid about trying to get the calls right, which actually makes the fans on both sides question them more. It also takes away the rhythm of the game.

When an entire thread is dedicated to whether or not the refs will cheat Beechwood on here, it's easy to see why that might happen.

  6. Knowing pretty much all the officials in the 13th region association, I can assure you this is garbage. I'm not a Corbin fan, but reality is they are really good especially lately, and have a tremendous home field atmosphere. Also, since 2016 the only teams to play at Corbin that should have/could have beat them were Alcoa, Belfry and Louisville Central. Alcoa went right down to the end, they beat Central by a td, then won at Central the next year in the state semis, and were blown out by Belfry. So in the 3 tough games they are 2-1 at home and of the two wins they beat one of the teams on the road the next year by almost identical scores.

  7. There are at least three teams that have an even chance of beating them in Hazard, Paintsville, and Raceland. Pikeville will have a tougher than average second round game in Lynn Camp or Williamsburg (likely won't lose to either, but it won't be a cakewalk to the region finals). They are the early favorite, but they are not miles ahead of the first three I named.
