Apollo vs Paintsville Hoops Classic Finals

Paintsville defeated Seneca this morning in the 9:00 am game to reach the finals of the Paintsville Tiger Hoops Classic!! They will take on Apollo, whom won their semi battle against Oak Ridge Tenn.

The consolation game is slated to start at 6:30 tonight with the Championship game to be held aprox. 20 minutes at the conclusion.

Should be a great game to cap off what has been a fantastic tourney!!!

People from all over the country were telling me how impressed they were with everything from the accomodations to the way the tourney is being run and with the caliber of teams. Hats off!!!

Should be a great game! I hope that the Tigers aren't too worn out though! Having played a late game last night without Kevin, then an early game this morning, without Meade, and then to have to play again tonight against a very good team, will certainly test the Tiger stamina!

 

On the positive side, the Tigers have knocked off two very talented teams that many didn't think that they would be able to beat! It is also good to see the Tigers playing much better team ball and in better sync. But they have got to learn to build on those big leads they get and not let the other teams back into the game! But they are improving nicely since the start of the season!
