Lots of good teams. As an 8th Region fan, I have no doubt that Oldham County will be very good again. Will be surprised if Ballard has the pitching to be the states #2 team. Allen County, Mercy, and Greenwood will probably have the best pitching.

Thought for sure that Walton Verona would be included. :idunno:

Did they play any of those teams last year if so how did they fair. I would say if they did beat a couple teams they should be seeing they return most their team.

Green Co, Ryle, Hopkins Central, North Laurel. Went 0-4 in close games, it is a hard sale to get teams from Northern Kentucky into the top 25.

While Green Co. only lost one plyer to graduation, Ryle & Hopkins Central each lost three and North Laurel lost four. Walton did lose one, but I still think they should definitely be in the top 25. JMO.

Man you are a softball junkie if you know how many players Hop Central and North have lost. Did Green County lose their pitcher? If they did that is pretty big. On the other hand, Ryle has their pitcher back and that is what sets them apart, IMO. Seems like about once every 5 or 6 years a big dominant 8th grade pitcher ends up on the mound at Ryle.

Green County pitcher is back this year. She is definitely a player and will carry that team. As for Ryle, heard the Smith girl that pitched for Ryle the last two years will possibly be catching this year. Heard they have no one else to catch but that they have another pitcher that is a sophomore that is really good. And yes you are right, I am a softball junkie. I love the game and can't wait to get out and see as many games as I can.

Green County should be really good again with their pitcher returning.

Would that be the Crupper girl for Ryle.... Mr. Porky? By the way, Boone County picked up a nice player (starter) transfer from St.Henry in the Kramer kid (1B/ Catch). With that in mind, BC moves up in my top 4, Ryle still the strongest for overall starting lineup.

Wow. Only one NKY team in that top 25. Are we that bad up here or is the rest of KY just that much better?

Porky, my husband is a 10th region umpire so maybe I'll get to meet you at a game since you are such a softball junkie!

I would say outside of a couple of teams we are that bad up here.
