The score was Scott 74 Frankfort 36. Quigley and Whitehead played really well in the tournament. Coach Carr has this team pointed in the right direction and Scott is improving each and every game.

from the sound of it wolfe gave scott a better game than frankfort, just curious ow many points did Gilbert have for wolfe because it seemed to me that he was a force, wolfe's only force scoring on constant double teams

Gilbert had 28 points, but he scored around 12-14 of those points on the second & third string players from Scott.

he scored 8 in the fourth so from the sounds of it he would've had around 20 on the first team, how many did howard have, plus i wouldnt be to happy to havea great game on wolfe, they are a bottom feeder team right now, but to score 20 on constant double teams is pretty impressive, but I do agree with you and I will give credit it where credit is do, The Big kid Howard was a load, a good big man with good footwork, he is a player

I will give you that Gilbert is a good ball player, but Scott did not double team Gilbert but maybe twice for the whole game. You also have to remember that Gilbert played the entire game.

 

Scott actually did not play well and still had a 27 point lead, and Scott's coach played the bench for 3 minutes in the third and almost the entire fourth quarter.

 

Howard had 21 points in around 3 quarters of play.

are you sure you watched the same game as I did, Scott's coach is a smart man and he knew that gilbert was the only player on wolfe's team, he was double multiple times and anytime he touched it all of scotts focus was on him and can you blame them no one else on wolfe can score, they are not very good right now

Gilbert brought the ball up and yes he was trapped(double teamed), but Scott does this to everyone that brings the ball up the floor for the opposing teams. Gilbert was double teamed in the post a couple of times, but Coach Carr yelled at his team to not double team him.

 

I said Gilbert is good, but it sounds like you are making him out to be so good that Coach Carr was worried about this kid. Trust me, Coach Carr was not worried about his team defending Gilbert.

Correct me if i'm wrong. But Isn't anytime anybody touches the ball the defense focuses on him. So that isn't a good arguement at all. Multiple times can mean 2 or 3 times throughout the course of the game as well. Howard could of had 30 plus if he would have played the entire game. Needless to say Scott is 8-3 and clicking on all cylinders going into the beef of there schedule. They look to be a team i would not want to run into.
