Boyd bounced back from a

bad week.The team did play

better and Coach Pratt used

his bench more.Owens had 33

points,Anthony Shannon had 15,

Torqwan Boyd had 10,and Mike

Middleton had 11.

Good win for Boyd!! It just takes the EKY teams a game or so to get used to the NKY teams!!

Ludlow only had 7 players able to dress for the game with a couple out with a stomach flu/virus and Chase King nursing an ankle injury. Despite a dismal tournament I came away impressed by Dan Penicks maturity and composure. He played very hard and had a nice tournament on an individual basis (52 points 35 rebs.) and showed a great deal of leadership even though the Panthers were struggling.

Obviously the Panthers have not gotten off to the kind of start they had hoped for. Chase King with ankle and hand/wrist injuries has not helped thats for sure along with some sickness at unfortunate times have helped to hold the Panthers back a bit. With them now starting to get into the Div-3 portion of their schedule I think we will see them start to win some games and hopefully by the time the Class A Tourney starts we can maybe surprise some people.
