The Shamrocks win at home against their Hoosier guests in the regular season finale. Hicks and Dieudonne each had 16 for the Rocks who hit only 16 of 31 free throws and were out-rebounded by two.

Good game - good test. Rocks needed that IMO. Jeff has a real nice team. Also J had nice fan support - they travel well.

On to the last part of the season.

They ought to be at the gym at 6:00am shooting f/t's. We counted 15 missed. Better not do that again ...it will cost them.

Top-ranked Louisville Trinity (26-3) got a test from Jeffersonville (Ind.) before finishing the regular season with a 61-54 victory at home. After Jeffersonville cut Trinity's lead to three at 52-49 with 3:24 remaining, the Shamrocks' Troy Saxton hit a three-pointer, Charles Foster hit a pair of free throws and Darryl Hicks hit another to push the lead back to 58-49 with 53.2 left.

Trinity survived a late rally by Jeffersonville to secure an undefeated home schedule with a 61-54 victory over the Red Devils on Friday night.

The Shamrocks (26-3), No. 1 in The Courier-Journal’s Litkenhous Ratings, tied the school record for victories that was set in 2004-05 and extended their Steinhauser Gym regular-season winning streak to 17.

Jeff (15-3) saw its nine-game winning streak end.

Senior forward Nathan Dieudonne and junior guard Darryl Hicks each had 16 points for Trinity. Trice Whaley led the Red Devils with 16.
