Did your friends just buy the $3 or so application or did the site in question (please don't name it here) have custom made applications for their site? The custom work is high high dollar.

The two forums I frequent besides BGP both use IP Board App. I'm not a fan at all.

Are you encouraging this for members to use as a mobile alternative or will there be a possibility you might partner with them in some form? If you would like people to use it and review it then I would seriously consider it.

 

If I knew the other two forums I frequented supported this app, I'd consider taking the plunge either way.

I have been speaking with some developers about mobile applications and their advice was to look at this application.

 

At this time I am putting this out there to see what happens. If everyone says it is the greatest thing since sliced bread and apple pie then I will take a hard look at it.

 

And yes I would like people to use it and review it for me/BGP. (DON'T DO IT YET)

I'm not sure exactly what help you need but first what kind of phone do you have?
