I find the Gallatin Co/Owen Co positions interesting. Hasn't Owen Co won that match up 3 times now? I do understand that Gallatin Co has the stronger schedule.

Same with Grant and Walton, Walton won both the games they played with grant but still sit behind them.

I think all of these posts are reasons why some believe the 8th is wide open. I personally have only seen two of these teams play since they played against HC, so I could not tell you who the favorite is.

Well the 3 Oldham's are strong and with 2 of them making the tournament that would be mean someone would have to beat one of them on Monday and and then on Tuesday. Dont know if anyone in the region can do that. The draw will be important as always. Simon also will be in the mix as they have played a hard schedule and have been competitive all year. Of course Gallatin and Owen could be a spoiler, and Collins on some nights will beat anyone. I said this last year, and it is so true, you have to beat 3 good teams, how many can do that?

What happened to Spencer County, they were a strong team last year then drop off. I have seen them play several times last year at the Lloyd Mem tournament but have seen them play this year but I thought they might be strong this year again.
