Ohio County moves to the semis to take on another 12th Region team in Southwestern. Ohio County is a well coached team. The semi game with Southwestern should be a dandy.

Interesting scenario in the first quarter when the refs called 2 technical fouls on Boyle County within about 30 seconds.

Why?

Why?

Well, first of all, I was sitting between the two benches and I didn't really hear a word - so I'm not sure how the ref heard anything. But, he emphatically called a technical foul on the white team's coach (Ohio County was the white team). So, everyone was confused because he then called it on the white team's bench (again, Ohio County). But, he was pointing towards Boyle County's bench.

He finally changed the call and said he called it on the black team (Boyle County). Then, Boyle County's coach began questioning the call. After he sat down, the official emphatically called a technical foul on the Boyle County head coach. Then, they counted them as team fouls, when they did not count them as team fouls last night. In the end, everyone was the confused, the officials were mad at the world and Ohio County got 4 free throws and the ball. It was pretty bizarre. Even the Ohio County coach turned and said, "what in the world?"

Because one of our assistants said "come on Kyle" to our player Kyle Rice and the ref that gave the technical happens to be named Kyle. When Coach Adams was begging for an explanation he picked up another because he was standing up when the ref told him to sit down is what I was told. Nobody is really sure and Coach Adams said he didn't say anything at all.

Hope these refs are not going to be there tomorrow!!!
