Kapinga(sp?) sparked Southwestern to the 2nd half comeback victory. He's a player and he played 100x better tonight than last night. Sophomore.

I was there til halftime. No way SW should've won this game. Goes to show you how much better KY basketball is than other states. Miami coach said they were ranked #1 in their class. He also said they have 2800 kids at their school, which was down 700 because of charter schools in Florida. So much for Miami being the automatic tourney winner like I'd heard many say.

Who is the favorite to win now?

I didn't get an opportunity to watch GRC but I was told by two other coaches that GRC is probably the favorite to win now. I was pretty impressed with how Southwestern played in the second half. It should be GRC vs. SW in the finals - although they play the games for a reason and anything can and usually does happen.

 

I will say this - the Miami Senior coaching staff have some interesting motivational techniques.

No way SW should have won this game. Miami was out coached. Period. Miami's coach didn't play his 6'9" towers hardly at all in the 2nd half. Made no sense to me. He also didn't play his backup pg at all in the 2nd half after he made a silly turnover in the 2nd quarter. He never at any time put his best possible lineup in the game. I have no clue what he was doing. Good win for Southwestern though.
