hoosierbirdfan
Twenty months ago , Natalie Randolph became the first female head football coach in the nation. She became head coach of Coolidge High School in Washington D.C.. Last year her team finished 4-7 and made it to the playoffs. This year her team went 8-2 and got a birth into the most "puff your chest out "( no pun intended ) Turkey Bowl City Championship. Congrats !!! CatsCatsCats
I was one of the most vocal people on this topic when she first got hired. While I still think it would have been difficult for me to play for a women coach in football, I have a ton of respect for Coach Randolph. Coaching, in most places in HS is a truly thankless and difficult job, I would imagine it has been difficult in spots for her even more than the average coach. Hope she keeps up the good work and continues winning.
FTBIGBIRD
I can't help but think of Goldie Hawn in Wildcats. What a great movie that just proves that with knowledge and enough tolerance, you can make anyone a believer!
