Boyd County Coach, Lee Evans is telling the Ashland Daily Independent, that he has been "let go" from that position.

Lee is a great guy, I wish him the best in his future ventures.

I hate that. Lee is a great person and a good coach. He really couldn't have done much with what he had, nor could have anyone else. Good luck to him in his next job.

I also hate that BCHS decided to let Coach White go. Excellent coach, fine man that if given enough time and support would imo m have had BC back to a perinial winning program. rebuilding a program after years of losing is not an easy task. Coach White will get another coaching job, no doubt about that. Will BC ever be a wiinner again year after year and not just one every so often? For the kids I hope that they can and that BC is not another Greenup Co. where a few select people dictate everything. that Kind of stuff is gor the adults and their "know it all" pride rather than the kids, JMO. As I said, I hope that this is not like that.
