I know we're about half way through the month but I figured we'd go ahead and get it started. All gaming talk of anykind in this thread for the month of November. The reason I divide it by months is because of new releases.

 

 

 

So I'll start by saying;

 

1. I'm not that impressed with MW3, I think BF3 multiplayer is WAY better thus far.

 

2. I'm interested in getting Skyrim or Saints Row 3, not sure which. Has anyone plays SR3 yet?

 

 

 

Also, I love my turtle beach headset, anyone else have one?

Have had turtle beach for awhile now, love it. Improved my MW2 game tremendously as you won't believe how much more you can catch and how many deaths you avoid with them.

 

MW3 is kicking my hind end on MP.

^ That could be my problem too. Dunno if I'm just not used to it yet but I'm getting kicked around as if I'm not even playing. Kinda sad really.

Been playing Skyrim. Great so far. We'll see how it lasts.

 

Anyone played Arkham City? Heard so many good things about it but haven't picked it up yet.

^ I've got the game but have yet to open it. I'm debating on whether or not to trade it in or keep it.

Heard a ton of great stuff about it but I dunno...I loved the first one though.

I played Arkham City. I loved the game. I rented it and beat the story in about 2 and a half days of playing. (intervals of 3-6 hrs of playing a day) so its not the longest game. You could probably beat it in 8-9 hours if you just strictly do the story mode. I rented it. Games are 60 bucks. To be honest, I am a huge Batman fan but I can't bring myself to pay that much for a game I will play once, maybe twice with only that many hours. It is better than the first.

 

Uncharted 3 was a good game. I would rent that if you have a ps3. Oblivion was my favorite game of all time and Skyrim has taken its place (until Star Wars: The Old Republic comes out)

AC: Revelations comes out as well. Anyone heard if it was good?

No I haven't played it. I don't have a ton of time to play games anymore where I teach and coach, so the majority of my gaming time is spent on MW3 right now, since its release that means about 10 hours total.

WWE '12 comes out this week. I haven't had time to play MW3 in the past 4 days, lots going on. Anyone making progress?

Are there any games out there that are pretty similar to the Metal Gear Solid Series? I usually only play sporting games and GTA, but my little brother got me hooked on MGS a long time ago. I loved story line of them.

I'm thinking about starting Oblivion.

I like MW3, but only when I can have a couple of friends play in the same lobby with me. The random public games are driving me insane because there's no teamwork. MW3 seems to have more starting maps than the other versions. That's good and bad, good for variety, but bad because it will take longer to learn the maps and the action flows.

 

I recently purchased a Turtle Beach headset and I'm so glad I did. I hear things now that I never heard before and it's improved my game immensely. Footsteps, calling in equipment(with the phone tones), you can hear it all. The one thing that is giving me a little problem is talking to other people is not as clean and crisp as the rest of the sounds. Not sure if it's MW3 or the headsets, but the voices sound muffled.

Getting WWE '12 today. Haven't played a werestling game in a couple of years but have heard good things on this one.
