Relatively sure Campbell County won the 8th grade, but I can't help you with a score or details.

Small School Divison: CovCath 7th

Medium School Divison: NewCath

Large School Divison: Campbell Co. 8th

I have to say the Large School Division game probably was one of the best games I had seen in a long time. Cov. Cath's QB is really fun to watch. I can't wait to see him play when he is older.

The score was tied 0 - 0 going into the 2nd half. I can't remember who scored first or what have you but with :42 seconds left in the game Cov Cath scores with a long pass from their QB. Then with roughly :23 seconds left Campbell Co. scores and holds onto for the win.

It was one of the best football games that I have ever seen in person. After half, Campbell County went into a Power I formation and drove down the field with big runs by #43 Trent McGovney. #13 Carson Plessinger ran a sweep to put the Camels on the board. The CovCath QB (Dressman) was elusive all night and made many big plays with his feet and arm. He must have scrambled for 10 seconds before completing the TD pass with :42 seconds left. CovCath 14 - Campbell County 8

Campbell County gets the ball back on their own 40 yard line. QB Matt Wilson throws a perfect pass to WR Dustin Turner down the sideline for the TD. This ties the game at 14. Instead of risking the 2-point PAT, Camels run the ball into the end zone for 1 point on a pitch left to McGovney.

Congrats to the Camels and Colonels on a great game played. The future is bright for both programs.
