Very weak in my opinion. You will bash a school and program with stories that are fabricated but not mention where you heard this lie protect the guilty.

 

If it were fabricated, he'd have to suspend himself.

I as well did not notice anything out of the "norm"......other than....Brossart calling the entire game :0)

ON the sidelines? Hmmmm are they under cover in football uniform?

 

they have "security" on the sidelines as a precaution to protect Tom Spritzky.

 

My guess is going to be people from Dixie will flatly deny this and I will tell you my source is solid and I stand by it.

This is absolutely ridiculous! Guru-I believe you have overstepped your boundaries. I know you know Coach Spritzky personally, why don't you call him and find out for yourself. In addition, Muggawg-if you were at the game and if you paid any attention to the game, you would have noticed Coach Spritzky calling the offense. Dixie gets a much needed win and some people still want to stir the pot. You should be ashamed of yourselves!

Toolman - Not stirring the pot - I as well hope Dixie can build on the win last night and get some momentum going! You have to admit, the 2nd half was the most emotion I've seen out of the entire team [coaches included] this entire year.

I have said it before and I will say it again, Tom Spritzky is a great guy.

 

My source was on the sidelines and was a part of the "security." I have known this guy for a long time and I have never known him to lie about anything. He is a Dixie guy. So I would say this, if indeed this is not true then the Dixie powers that be need to police some of the bozos on their sidelines that are in fact going around and stating this as absolute truth.

 

As requested, I spoke with an authority at Dixie and I told him if he would give me a formal statement I would post his statement on the site as the final word and close the thread. So there it is:

 

"there was no security for Coach Spritzky. our sidelines and student body were supervised by our AD and Head Baseball coach. It is school policy to have an adminstrator present at all sporting events."
