Any word on the Brossart player that was injured last nighjt in this game.

From what I heard he will be ready to play next week. Not sure of the injury but I heard everything came back fine.

I heard he had a punctured lung and possibly a broken rib? If that's the case, he won't be ready next week. Prayers go out to Jake and the Bartlett family on a quick recovery.

 

Nevermind, just talked to someone who said he had broken blood vessels in his stomach? Never heard of such a thing but sounds not as serious...

No he and an NCC player were going up for a ball and the NCC's back/butt went straight into his stomach. I did not see it but talking to people who had seen it said it was a pretty good hit.

I mean that is what happened to Scott Christian from Boone a few years ago .

Pretty good hits coming from both sides during the game. Ref on that side was useless and I think the boys figured that out and took advantage of plays on that side the rest of the night. Someone needed to tell him he was allowed to call more than offsides.

The fact of the matter is that the ar's duties are 95% on the offside and 5% on fouls. While most fans think it is quite easy to watch offside and the rest of the play, it is not. The pregame instructions start with you have offside at ALL TIMES.

If that is the case the sport should have another referee because there is way too much action for one person to cover.
