Really play a game on Saturday and come back and play again on Sunday? Not worth it to me to say I am the middle school champion in the state.

Division l - Northern Pulaski

Impressive that three of the four titles went to Pulaski County schools.

Wish I'd seen this thread earlier. My nephew is a starting running back for Paintsville and made it to the championship game. I'd like to thank the people that put this on. It was an amazing experience for the kids + memories they will have for a lifetime. Some of the kids haven't been out of their little town. They were able to not only win on Sat but take the kids to the UK football game Sat night. Some of them tried to get a picture with Joker (especially one of the little guys that's never exeprienced hardly anything) but he turned them down. Anyways for a lot of those kids it was an experience of a lifetime.

Congrats to the Pulaski schools. It's incredible how much talent they have in that county! Somerset might have beaten some of the high school teams I've seen. They were big, outstanding running back and very very well coached! Their secondary rolled to motion better than a lot of high school teams I've seen + they had a nice passing game where the QB sometimes worked to his 3rd progression. They were very coached up!

It was a great weekend of football. Rough Sunday for the Region 4 teams but the Region 2 teams dominated yet again this year. I would love to see everyone come out and see the best of KY Thanksgiving weekend at Kentucky State University. Team KY 8th and 7th grade teams will take on Team Missouri in the first round of the Football University National Championship tournament on Saturday November 26. 2011. Also on Sunday, November 27, 2011, the third annual KYMSFA East vs West Allstar game will take place at Kentucky State University. This year we will have both 7th and 8th grade East and West teams.

 

This will be a jam packed weekend of football. Anyone interested in attending let me know.

Congratulations to both the 7th and 8th grade Union Raider Middle School teams for a great season. Both teams made it to the regional finals and the following three players were selected for the Kentucky Middle School All State team.The future definitely looks bright in Union.
