Voice of Reason Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 So what are the biggest games tonight that will impact playoffs and rankings? What top teams are going to face big challenges? Anyone see an upset of a top team happening tonight?
hrcarrier Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Not much of anything in NKY; if there was going to be one and a very big one, I would say Campbell County beating Dixie, which I know are not top teams. Other than that, the only one coming to mind for me would be Warren Central beating Bowling Green. I know that both teams are good, but I believe that a Warren Central win would be considered an upset by many.
Voice of Reason Posted October 7, 2011 Author Posted October 7, 2011 It sounds like the 1A games around the state might be the big ones. Louisville Holy Cross vs. Ky. Country Day Raceland vs. Nicholas County Hazard vs. Harlan Here are a couple more big ones between ranked teams: Danville vs. Somerset John Hardin vs. Jefferstown
rockmom Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 In 6A, undefeated Manual takes on undefeated Trinity. Even given Trinity success to date, this could be a whale of a game, and a huge impact on the Super District. Just my (un)biased thoughts.

Danville/Somerset, Hazard/Harlan, and Raceland/Nicholas County should be good games. I don't enough about the others. Hearing the team KY Country Day makes me feel old, my high school used to play them quite a while back.
