There is always hope btw the State draw is 2pm today .

Exciting time for NKY volleyball fans.

Hope springs eternal! If I remember correctly the tourney is not in NKY this year. That hurts.

Didn't help much when both NDA and NCC lost in the State-Semi's at NKU in 2009 to . . you guessed it.

Assumption is simply way ahead of the rest of the field. I haven't got to see them but their results speak for themselves.

And here's my Assumption post from another thread . . .

 

Yes they are in a class by themselves. Assumption, also known as the club team KIVA, since almost all of their players play together year 'round in both school and club, will not be threatened this year, or anytime soon. I marvel and applaud their dominance.

 

It will take a rule change from the KHSAA to get them off track. Going to classes for Volleyball won't solve it because, well, they're beating everyone now anyway. It will take a rule like Ohio has, that HS teams are limited to the number of school players they can have from a single club team, to end this dynasty.

Now that we know the state draw, I'm going to answer my own question - no.
