There is an awesome website out now with results of the top boys and girls tournaments in Kentucky. It's ran by the KJGF. Here's the link

High School Golf Results

Kentucky Golf Coaches Assoc just released a Top 10 poll on their website. Good that they started it, although it missed on a few teams

Thanks! First poll. I'm sure coaches will get it right eventually

Tell me your top ten in boys and girls.

Boys Top 10

1. West Jessamine

2. St. X

3. St. Mary

4. LCA

5. Lex Catholic

6. CAL

7. Corbin

8. Cov Catholic

9. Mad. Central

10. Dunbar

I think on a golf course like Bowling Green over two days you can safely say that one of those top 4 teams will win the state. I don't know enough on girls golf to give you a ranking.

Covington Catholic has been beaten consistently all year by Ryle and NCC - CovCath has not beaten either.

That may be true, it appears as though Ryle and Cov Cath are fairly even. I don't see or read much about NKY golf unless they are in a Louisville/Lexington tourney. But a top 10 is irrelevant, there are probably 10 more teams that could be filled into the 5-10 spots.

Thanks for posting. I looked to see the results of our regional golf tourney today, but results are not up yet. Glad I have this link so I can check. About time they had sometning for the golfers!!

This site has actually been around for a while, but they haven't always posted the HS tourney results. It's mostly for the summer junior tournament events.

Cov Cath had a very good day posting a very impressive 300 in tough conditions. Looking at the scores posted below, I don't think "blowing away the field" is accurate. Both Cov Cath and Ryle posted all 5 players between 74 - 81, making for a very competative regional championship as usual. Good luck to both teams at the state tournament next week in Bowling Green.
