Beechwood has some good linemen. Mahorney has been starting at center since he was a 7th grader. Etler and Stokes are good sized and solid players.

As far as I can tell the Beechwood team doesn't have "standout" talent but instead has a lot kids that work hard and play hard. I think they have a decent tailback in Jake Scmidt but I don't he is quite as good as Mitch Thomas last year, Gage Erdman/Max Nussbaum prior year.....and Cameron Vocke the year before that. He is good but not to that next level yet. Agree with VOR on Mahorney, he is smarth tough player!

8th graders

 

Birindelli - subs on defense

Fieger - QB, subs some on defense

Slusher - reciever, linebacker (in rotation)

Bankemper - Running back (in rotation), linebacker (in rotation)

Rowe - subs ocassionally on defense line

Combs - TE, DE

 

don't know if I missed someone. So a lot I would only say Fieger, Slusher, Bamkemper and Combs. The other two do contribute.
