These two cross-town rivals meet this week at Nelson County. Who would the win be bigger for in this one?

Given what Bardstown's basketball team did last year (a visit to Rupp Arena), a football win over a taditional "larger school program" would be huge.

Side note: NC has won the past three meetings, but Bardstown leads the overall series, I think by a lot.

The Tigers looked strong the first two weeks, but Nelson Co. will be their toughest test yet. The Cardinals have limped out to an 0-3 start, and figure to be angry and hungry.

Trust Upson missed last week with an ankle injury, and a couple other Nelson skill players suffered injuries last week. Their good health will be critical, especially considering Bardstown is coming off a bye week.

Bardstown 20-19.

Dose anybody know what the series is wins/losses overall?

I think Nelson County will pull this one off, but it will be a very close game and won in overtime!!

Nelson 27

Bardstown 24

Bardstown 30

Nelson Co. 11

Since 1996, Nelson Co. has won eight of 15.

I think that B-town wins this one. 35-21

Bardstown wins big in this one! Nelson's defense is like paper. I've watched both teams play, and this game won't even be close, Bardstown wins big! Bardstown has too much speed, and Nelson can't stop anybody. Bardstown wins 49 to 21.
