Guest Birdflu Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 I had to leave the game at halftime with Highlands leading 14-7. They must have really made adjustments and came to life in the second half.
horst muhlmann Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 Nice game by Hoge @ QB, Urlage @ RB and a host of others. Very impressed with Feggins - who has great hands. Birds capitalized on several CC turnovers -was also impressed with CC's #52, 22, and 76.
stinkyboy II Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 Another one of those games that the score doesn't tell the whole story. Campbell County has a very physical frosh football team. They committed too many turnovers and had some penalties that stalled drives, but will win quite a few games this year. The CC passing game is non-existent at this point, but they have a big o-line and the backs will run over you. Middle linebacker (Sauerback) - made a ton of plays. Birds took advantage of mistakes. Urlage had 2 great open field runs. Hoge was on target in the passing game and the receivers make plays.

stinkyboy II Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 What about the Big running back Thomas #32 for Campbell County, how did he do? He is actually #22. He is a load. Several plays it took 3 HHS defenders to get him down.

He indeed is a load but he was #32 when we played Campbell! The young man ran out of gas early in the third quarter against CovCath. Did he do the same against HHS?

Did he do the same against HHS? The entire CC team was worn out by the 4th qtr. The running back #22 (or #32) also plays nose tackle. He would have to be superman to maintain a high level of play at those two positions in last nights heat.
