I guess it was a quick reload for Christian County after graduating Bubba Tandy & Anthony Hickey. Are they better this year than last?

Sometimes addition by subtraction makes you a better all around team. And I'll leave it at that.

Don't know if County is better but they have a slew of young skill kids who don't mind blocking for their teammates. Sometime not having a stud/stars makes you more of a team.

I was told Henderson had a bunch of turnovers, but that seems to be a pattern with this Christian team. Impressive win.

That is the selfless committment that makes the impossible - possible. That is what is missing with the current addition of Fort Campbell football. I look forward to seeing the Colonels in a couple of weeks.

A bunch of turnovers is an understatement. They had 4 in the 4th quarter alone. I believe they finished with 7 or 8 total. Henderson took the opening kick off and had CC on the heals with a 21 play opening drive that took 9:00. The game turned when HC's first field goal attempt, a successful one, was blown dead due to CC being offsides. HC missed the retry. CC then scored on 1 play from 80 yards out. Henderson's came out for the second half down 20-0 and the defense really stepped up forcing CC to punt their first couple of possessions. HC's offense then looked like it was getting back in it on a long pass play but Witlock ended up fumbling on the 10. The ball bounced into the end zone and CC recovered. The defense was able to force CC to punt and the HC offense came right back and got their first score. I guess that made CC mad because they ran off 21 unanswered. One of the worst games I've seen a HC team play.
