The Scribe Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 This should be a nice measuring stick for both teams. Trigg has shown signs of stopping the run in the first two weeks but haven't seen a good O-line yet. Crittenden has struggled with some spread teams in years past and they cant just focus on one Trigg player to stop. I'm liking Trigg with a late score to win only because they are playing at home.

Scribe, Great points!! It should be a great game, and I agree with you about it being a measuring stick for both teams. But I do hope that you are wrong about the final score!!! haha!! But time will tell...
RocketLandFan Posted August 31, 2011 Author Posted August 31, 2011 I think Crittenden wins by a TD. I hope you are right in CC winning!! But due to the stress of my nerves when CC plays I hope we win by a few TD's!!!
RocketLandFan Posted August 31, 2011 Author Posted August 31, 2011 I think Trigg wins by 2 TD's. You could be right on that. I guess we will see Friday night. Do you know anything about how they played against Todd Co.?? Is Todd getting that much better? Or did Trigg have an off night offensively?
The Scribe Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 Todd has gotten better. Still a ways to go for the Rebs. Todd took away Trigg's running back, but the Wildcats are more balanced than in recent years. I think conditioning will play a big part in this one. Trigg held Russellville to 40 or so yards in the second half and held Todd to 35 yards in the second half.

The Scribe Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 Trigg doesnt have a big shifty back. They have a lot of water bugs that move side to side in a hurry
RocketLandFan Posted August 31, 2011 Author Posted August 31, 2011 Trigg doesnt have a big shifty back. They have a lot of water bugs that move side to side in a hurry Thanks for clearing that up. How fast are the backs for Trigg?
The Scribe Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 Pretty fast. Several relay team members but nothing crazy fast.
PtownDude Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 Too close to call, so I'll take the Wildcats at home.
RocketLandFan Posted September 1, 2011 Author Posted September 1, 2011 Rockets by 2 TDs Falcon Backer, I hope you are right!!!!
