FC
Tale of two halves. Fort Campbell had a 14-0 lead with under a minute left in the first half. Clarksville scored on a long run with about 0:45 left and it was all down hill from there. Penalties and turnovers killed the Falcon's momentum on almost every drive of the 2nd half. FalconBacker
FC up 14 - 0 & both teams made a decision: FC decided to pack it in for the night & Clarksville did a gut check and decided to continiue to play football. This game was one that FC should have easily closed out. FC reverted to their method of operation from last season & and we all experienced a deja vu moment and it seemed like it we were back in the 2010 season. Clarksville is not even a top-tier opponent for FC, (Warren Central, Christian County & Paducah Tilghman). Hope this gets corrected immediately - Warren Central on 2 September. The leadership issues that plagued Fort Campbell last season seemed to come back and bit 'em in the buttocks last night. When things got tough, nobody in pads could really rally the troops and get things together. CHS opened up the run game with a decent (somewhat) deep passing game. Poor tackling and careless penalties got the best of our Falcons last night. Later.
