Toothpick, you just have to check the Simon Kenton schedule to find out which teams he will go after. If BW was not on the schedule i would think this would not be a thread.

All i have heard is Beechwood will beat SK but I don't think so.

There you go hearing things again. You need to get that checked out!

I read it in the newspaper the other day. I also read it on here to. They have just over 40 players add in injuries that means playing both ways.

Who's injured???

I have not said that. It would not shock me if they did. SK should have enough to beat a school the size of BW. I am curious why a school the caliber of SK is playing the type of schedule they are the first 4 games. Keep in mind I do not have a dog in this fight.

Nobody that I know of. I am just saying if you have around 40 players and lose some to injuries your going to have players play both ways. I thought the newspaper said Beechwood's QB even plays both ways.

I don't know all the facts about the 2-way starters for Beechwood. I think SK's thinking of scheduling isin't bad with as many young players as they have. They are playing smaller schools, smaller schools with rich traditions. If it were typical small schools I think it would give them a false sense of security.

So, if they go into the Ryle game week 5 at 2-2 all will be OK in Independence?

How many kids go to Beechwood? For a small school they have a lot of big kids playing football. They several kids over 6'3 that is impressive. I look forward to watching Vocke play to see how good he is against a 6A team.

There are fewer kids at Beechwood, K-12, than there are at Simon Kenton High, 9-12.

Probably 11-12

I might go watch Beechwood scrimmage this week.

True, but I bet Beechwood has a bigger drawing area! Oh those independent school systems.:thumb:
