I dont see any problem with Notre Dame not scheduling NCC .

Many years ago when NCC was not nearly as strong as they are now, Notre Dame dropped them from the schedule in order to play more Cincinnati teams. Although NCC has grown into one of the strongest local programs, they have not been added to Notre Dame's schedule. Notre Dame had to pick up Cooper as a conference match but has never shown much interest in adding NCC to the schedule.

 

They have faced each other sparingly in either the LIVT or the Mercy Fall Classic and have split the last couple matches.

I think the two teeams should play. It is riidiculous that 2 of the top 3 or 4 programs in NKY don't play each other.

Also believe NCC should play in the "All A" tourney. That is why this is played, to give the kids in smaller schools a chance to play in, and hoppefully win a state title. NCC has gone to state every year it has been in the 10th region, but that will change next year. The excuse that the All A is the same weekend as the LVIT is weak. They play the Louisville teams in the regular season anyway, so why go play them again. They also play in Cin. Mercy tourney which has outstanding teams. Bottom line, they will never win the overall state title. If they couldn't do it several years ago with 3 DI players and a good supporting cast, they never will. I don't think it is fair to the players to deny them the chancr to win a state title when they have very good teams every year..

NCC & Ryle in the final game of the regular season will be a great one.
