Restaurant managers

Went to Applebee's a couple of years ago and the wife ordered some kind of flatbread sandwich. When she got it, there was green stuff all over the bread. The server tried to tell us on more than one occasion that it was "herbs".

It was mold. The manager knew the difference.

Applebee's and K-Mart... I hate them both.

I spent a summer working at K-Mart. It was a miserable experience. They would staff plenty of us to run the registers and work the store. But they would start sending people home pretty early in the day, leaving us with limited workers to run the entire store. People would get pulled off of registers to stock and handle other areas. The checkout lines stayed long. It was awful knowing I could jump in in spots and help but wasn't allowed to.

I have a friend who often tells the story of going to KFC and being told they were out of chicken. Classic...

I went to the local K-Mart this past Sunday morning to get a DVD (Despicable Me) advertised on sale in their circular. It was in stock and rang up at the advertised sale price.

It's 3:30 in the morning a week later and I'm just now recovering from the shock.

My wife and I still laugh at the memory of us pulling into McDonald's on 3L and them telling us they were out of hamburgers.

Years ago our cross-country bus pulled into a NKY Mickey Ds at an "off-time", probably around 2 or 3 in the afternoon.

The Golden Arches staff had to go to a neighboring business to get change.
