Another interesting thing I read was the vision Dany had in the House of the Undying...she was told that the dragon had three heads. She is one. If the Jon Snow theory is true, he would be another. Who is the third?

 

I really have no idea how the story is going to play out and resolve itself. I'm interested in pretty much all the Starks, but Arya and Bran in particular. Arya especially. She was one of my favorites from early on and her story has been unique to say the least. And, Theon Greyjoy...what is going to happen with him?

As it seems to me the three main characters for the rest of the books IMO will be Dany, Jon, and Tyrion. How they will collide I have no clue. It just feels like Martin has singled them out for a reason.

 

Also it is nice to have people to talk to about the books. I know NOONE who has read the books outside of myself and you few BGP'ers. I thought the series was more popular than that.

I had never heard of it prior to this thread and the HBO series.

 

That's the second book series I've picked up because of BGP recommendations. The other was the alternative history of the CSA series by Harry Turtledove.

I think she might have said Jaime, just my guess. Another thing is if Arya is really blind or just another one of those things that Martin does.

 

I also very much hope the new POV is "Littlefinger." I think its about time we see him, and since Sansa isnt there it might fit.

 

I wouldn't mind a Littlefinger POV, but I doubt it will be in this book. Since this book overlaps AFFC, Sansa's POV already told the story of the Vale. I was trying to guess who the new POV might be, but I have no idea.

I've read some things speculating that Benjen could be the mysterious Coldhands that Bran and the Reeds are with. Who knows?

What is up with the maesters at Oldtown though? Marwyn left to find Daenerys at the end of the last book, but they told Sam not to mention dragons, that it didn't fit with the world the maesters of Oldtown wanted to create. And, they also made some comment that the grey sheep will take a galley to find Daenerys, but Marwyn thought he could get to her first. Who is grey sheep? I assume its the power of the Citadel at Oldtown, which is something we know nothing about at this point. That's just another piece added to the puzzle.

 

Also, Aemon told Sam, the Sphinx is the riddle, not the riddler, or something like that. And, that guy Alleras is nicknamed the Sphinx. That seems to suggest there is something important about him. And, the novice Pate, who seemingly died at the beginning of the book, only to be there talking to Sam at the end. Who was that mysterious Alchemist that he met at the beginning?

 

Sorry to be all over the place with my thoughts, but there are so many questions. I don't know how this is all going to play out, but I can't wait to read it.

 

Things are going to get interesting with Daenerys it seems. There are tons of people looking for her.

I can't wait for this new book. Martin said Jaime and Cersei were in the book, but didn't have many chapters. I assume that means the new book will cover the same time period with the missing characters, and then it will move the story forward a little with all the characters. I think the sixth book is to be called the Winds of Winters.

For your last part of your last post, I read something by Martin that said A Feast of Crows was meant for us mainly to know what's going on at Kings Landing and that A Dance with Dragons is going to be every where else during the same time.

 

Less than one month til Dance with Dragons then a probable 5 years til the next :lol:

My last guess for the hidden POV is Osha. The woman who took Rickon, we havent heard from them in a good while and it would fit. Dont think its them just another idea :lol:

While reading through more websites about some predictions I took some that I believe could be true and some valid points that could be made.

 

1. Samwell doesnt become a maester, because it would take wayyyyy to long to become one, and there has to be more of him or GRRM wouldnt have given him POV chapters.

2. Near the end of the seriers Bran will rebuild Winterfell and be "Bran the Re-Builder"

3. Dany will somehow kill Jaime for the mere fact that he killed her father.

4.(My own kinda) Blackfish will escape to the wall to tell Jon that he is king of the north. Not much besides that but maybe just a point.

5. Cersi dies from the hand of her brother. Jaime. It was a prediction the lady made and with GRRM will have us thinking Tyrion but infact Jaime.

6. Ser Jorah will end up at the wall. Alot could come from this.

7. A cool one I read, Syrio is not dead and meets up with Arya eventually.

8. Last one... Drum roll please... GRRM will die of old age before he finishes the series.

Yes. I thought of her as well. She seems like a logical choice to me, assuming Rickon has a role to play in the conclusion of the story.

Interesting. Especially #5. I agree with #1, there doesn't seem to be enough time for Sam to forge his chain. I suspect he's there to give Martin a POV at the Citadel in Oldtown. The end of the last book suggested some powerful pieces in play there, IMO. It certainly raised a lot of questions in my mind.

 

I can't even guess where the story is going. But, I have to be honest, Arya Stark is the character that interests/intrigues me the most at this point.
