Clark County standout Jaylen Daniel has signed with Angelina College in Lufton, Texas. He’s Angelina’s third signee from Kentucky following Christian County’s Veontae Lewis and Graves County’s Jesse Anderson.

Three players in a year is a nice haul for the state. I wondered where close connection to the state of Kentucky came in, and wondered if it would be a trend that might continue. After doing some research, here's what I came up with:

"Assistant Coach John Dillard begins his second season at AC after serving as an associate in 2009-2010... graduated from Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia, Kentucky".

 

Full profiles are on the site, but it looks like the staff is relatively new and building up somewhat of a repertoire with the state of Kentucky.

They got some really good players in this group. I promised the GRC players that I would go watch them play at the next level. Zollo (Western),Stenzel (Eastern), and Purvis (Alice Lloyd) I can go to......Daniel (Texas) ...not so sure....Better watch what I promise....:lol:

Same here Bull Dog. That is 5 of GRC's basketball players that have signed to play at the next level, with Rogers playing football. I wish them all the very best!!!!:thumb:
