April 10, 201115 yr Special training is called break out the belt! Trust me. I wish it was that easy. With a kid like this, that wouldn't help. In fact, it would probably have the opposite effect. I had to learn that lesson the hard way. This child knows right from wrong and still does wrong. According to him "... its just who I am". What does that tell you? The pepper spray just got this kids attention, this time. If used on him again, now that he knows what to expect, it probably won't work as well. A child learns most of its discipline and boundaries, before for it turns 6. This kid is 8. It's going to take an extreme amount of time and patience to turn him around. Even then, it will still take a tremendous amount of work to keep him on the straight and narrow. And when he is of adult age and the control is gone? I feel sorry for this little guy. I'm afraid he may have a rough life ahead of him.
April 11, 201115 yr I was discussing this incident the other day at work, when some asked "How do you pepper spray an 8 year old?" I told her you just have to aim a little llower than when you spray an adult. "how can you shot women and child?" "you just don't lead them as much..."
April 11, 201115 yr I think mom and the boy would drop the whole thing if someone tossed a couple dozen Krispy Kremes at them.
