6th/7th Region Semifinals at Bellarmine

What a day for basketball in Knights Hall today and this evening. Of the eight teams playing, you have according to Litkenhous six of the top 17 teams in the state, highlighted by No. 1 vs. No. 2:

1 - Eastern

2 - Ballard

6 - Jeffersontown

9 - Pleasure Ridge Park

14- - Bullitt East

17 - Western.

Who comes out? I say Bullitt East and Eastern.

I have to stick with Western and Eastern, not because I think Western is the best team, but because they were the only 6th Region team I have seen this year and they looked pretty good.

PRP leading Butler 28-27 at half in a 6th Region semi.

J-town leads Seneca 19-13 with 6:32 left in the 2nd.

Bullitt East beat Western and will play PRP, who dispatched Butler, in the 6th final.

Each game needs it's own thread.
