Rebounding has been a struggle the entire season for the Birds. The problem is 3 of the 5 players are retreating down the floor before the ball even hits the rim and that is primarily on the offensive end. On the defensive side of the ball, since they have primarily played zone the past 5--8 games, there should be no reason they get outrebounded. This is where the "kodak" moments occur like bpiccolo mentioned. The lane is being crashed and the guards are spectating and one of the forwards is starting his sprint down the court. Rebounding is all about hustle and heart as well as can be achieved through team effort. I have not seen that yet this season and it is discouraging.
