Highlands 68. Scott 61

Featured Replies

The Lady Eagles really battled hard throughout this game and gave Highlands everything they wanted. It was a three point game under two minutes to go. Scott just could not get over the hump. Tibbs led the way with 30 points for Scott. Highlands was balanced. Connor had some big baskets and free throws for them.

Foul trouble for the Eagles was the difference. Stinson fouled out with a little over 3 minutes to play, and the Eagles had to give a lot of minutes to two Freshman (who played pretty well). Definitely the best game they've played since beating SK.

Also, I'm surprised it wasn't mentioned before the game, but 3 of the top scorers in KY basketball history were participating in the game....Jamie Walz (Highland Coach), Rhonda Klette (Scott Coach) and Lauren Tibbs. Over 10,000 pts between those 3!!!

Great stat. Did not think about that. Tibbs went over 2700 in the game tonight. A whole lot of scoring between the three of them.
