Have you seen any of these top 25 teams (other than Dixie) actually play?

I'm sure Cantrall has not seen every team in the state play, so it is very subjective.

As I said I was being sarcastic, as people complain a lot and many use ONLY head to head as an argument, which you can't do, it's impossible. Yes there has to be some speculations, but their is a theory on the rankings, which I think some people forget the rankings do not get you anywhere, not used for seeding or anything and you don't get a sweet 16 appearance or a title from it either.

 

I have seen 12 of the top 25 player, not including Dixie. Which I'm sure is more than Dave has seen, but that is just a guess as well

Believe that Cantrell's ratings are computer generated. The AP poll is votes from the media/coaches.

I'm sure you are right that you have seen more than Dave. I have a difficult time chosing who is the best team when I don't get to see all of the teams involved or even after only seeing a team play once. The other issue with ranking high school teams is that they are so inconsistent and match ups are always an issue. But it does give us something to chat about!
