Congrats - she was very impressive tonight!!!!

Miss Whitfield is the best talent in the 8th region, and that is saying much, as there are several very accomplished young ladies this year, especially in the junior class. More so than any of them, she can impact a game from baseline to baseline.

This moves Whitfield to #5 on the all-time South Oldham scoring list.

There are a LOT of good players in the 8th this year - most of them underclassmen - but you can make a very good argument for Jasmine Whitfield as the best of a really good class. She's arguably one of the best defenders in the region, has tremendous wingspan on the front of that South defense. She's the #2 rebounder on her team, averaging over 6 rebounds a game from her guard spot and averaging nearly 22 ppg (team best). She's also hitting over 50% from inside the arc and over 30% beyond it... Very, very impressive season for her. Kudos to Jasmine on this milestone...

Congrats to Jasmine. You are an exciting player to watch each and every time you step on the floor. You deserve everything you get. Lord only knows you have put in the time it takes for so long. It makes me happy to see all the hard work pay off.
