Closer than I would have suspected. Brossart must have hung in there pretty well. Any details?

Brossart did hang tough. The game was just 31-26 at half. Sydney Moss scored 11 points in 6 1/2 minutes in the 3rd quarter to help Boone County pull away. The margin got to 20 or 22 early in the fourth before Coach Fookes pulled most of her starters. Boone had, from memory only because I can't find a box score, three players in double figures. Moss had 24 and at least 15 rebounds and Lydia Nash had about 15. Stacie Shrout was the other starter I remember being in double figures.

Bishop Brossart is well coached and, at least in the first half, did a nice job of handling Boone's pressure. They started at least two freshman and played a lot of players. They also shot the 3 well and that kept them in the game for a long time. In looking at their roster they are very young with but a couple of seniors and one junior so they have a bright future. One of those seniors, Becca Kidney, had a nice game today. She's a lefty with a pretty stroke.

Brossart is well coached for sure. Their fans are the whiniest of all I have seen in Northern Kentucky. Made me go back and read other posts about some of the girls coaches in their sports that have been forced to leave. Makes much more sense now that I have seen their vocal fan base. Good luck to both teams and I hope this Brossart coach can hang in there with some of those parents "fans" he will have to contend with.

In a game that was never really in doubt I thought both sets of fans were a bit vocal, does anyone know what the T was for?

The game appeared to me to be called pretty darn well.
