Really? I was there and never got the feeling Lloyd was going to be challenged. It was about a 8 to 10 point game at half and quickly got out of hand in the 3rd quarter.

Bellevue played very hard. They kept it close in the first quarter but their lack of depth slowed them down and hurt them in the second quarter and second half. The Tigers did not quit at all and kept fighting until the final buzzer. But I agree with Clyde, it really wasn't close in the second half. Hat's off though to the Tigers for never giving up.

Really? I was there and Bellevue had cut it back to 13 points in the 4th quarter. They had the ball with about 3 minutes to play and a chance to get it back to a 10 point deficit. Coach Key must have had a feeling they were being challenged because he put Cheetum back in the game. Bellevue turned it over their next two trips down the court...then the game was over.

Perhaps a big reason why Bellevue was able to get back in the game was that Cheetum was out of the game. Plus the fact that Cheetum was out of the game in the 4th must have meant Lloyd had a nice lead to begin with.

No doubt about it. Cheetum was the difference maker. I was only pointing out that the game was not "out of hand" up until 2 minutes to go. He had been taken out with about 4 minutes to go in the 4th after Lloyd had pushed their lead over 20. The lead was shrinking fast however and he quickly re-entered the game.
