Ge'Lawn Guyn (former Scott County star) Update

Featured Replies

Evan Daniels of Scout.com posted the following about Guyn:

"Evan Daniels: Meant to post this over the weekend. Cincinnati signee Ge-Lawn Guyn went for 45 points and 10 assists in his last game."

Guyn is playing for South Kent Prep School right now.

So glad to hear he is dong so well. Look forward to watching him play for UC next year.

I saw in another forum that he only had 25pts and that it was a mistake by EvanDaniels....not really sure but either way pretty good.

I know you're partial to the Holmes kids, but I remember seeing him play against the Bulldogs at the BOK a couple years ago, and thinking he was the best/most talented kid on the floor. He has another gear that is Knowles like, not many Kentucky kids are that kind of fast.

I won't argue that. Guyn was indeed the best player on the floor that day. He absolutely lit it up and neither Housely, D. Johnson, or Riley could defend him.

Cincinnati is lucky to have landed him. IF not for some injuries, Guyn would've been rated much higher than he was coming out of high school.

Just to be clear, not a knock on the Holmes talent at all. They obviously had plenty of kids who were really good. I was making a statement on just how good Guyn can/could be save whatever issues he may have had.

Noted...and as I stated, I agree.
