Also, Brossart is a typical Brossart team that is going to work hard and if you don't match their work ethic, you will get beat.

Pretty much what I expected.

Not trying to throw a wrench into anyones prediction but Kelsey Carmack is playing tonight against Paris.

End of 3rd period, Paris 36 Deming 26

No, Sticklen was the 6th man. Haight, Burden, Meyer, Crawford, & Riggs were the starters.

Sara Sticklen was at the very least the 2nd best player on the Lady Polar bears team last year and with no doubt here the most talented.

As far as individual talent goes, I agree on Sticklen being the second best--if not the best. She has the talent to go down as one of the best Lady Bears ever IMO. But there were other players on last year's team who played bigger roles in the team's success. In retrospect, I think PK's decision to bring her off the bench was a good one, though during the season there were times when I questioned it.

This year is quite different, as Sticklen has a lot on her shoulders--both from a sheer production perspective as well as from a leadership perspective. Thus far, she's handled both quite well, along with Ahrens.
