Not a shock here. Let me guess,Jefferson and Cummins scored 50 of the 68 points for BC.

Final. Polar Bears led the entire game. They were up by 20 at half and then Pendleton Co. made a run to pull within 9 pts. in the third but the Bears came back with a strong 4th quarter to put the game away.

Not sure on stats, as I saw the score on KHSAA's site. Wouldn't be surprised about Cummins & Jefferson. They've been a formidable duo for Persinger & the Bears.

 

Seems as though Bracken is overachieving & Pendleton underachieving when you look at where most had them in the pre-season. But, it's only January & plenty of time for Simms & his squad to turn things around.

Monroe was complimented last season, but doesn't seem to be the case this season. Is everyone getting along in Falmouth?

Me neither, believe Walsh started and played well last season and the Strong kid was a middle school wonder, he's probably just a soph.

Three of Pendleton's starters were limited in their playing time tonight. Michael Walsh and Jared Rering were both sick with flu-like symptoms, and Alex Valentine was very limited in his minutes for the third straight game due to a calf injury.

 

No excuse though for how flat Pendleton came out tonight. It's tough to win with three starters down like that, but Bracken came out and blitzed PC right from the tip. Cummins and Jefferson are a handful in the paint.

Pendleton returns two starters in Monroe and senior Michael Walsh. They also return a little Varsity experience in seniors Alex Valentine, Aaron Bonar and Asa Crozier. Several players for PC are first-year varsity contributors. I look for Coach Simms to have these boys ready to play by March. He always does.
