Scott held the lead all but the last minute or so of the 1st half. They built up a 30-22 lead in the 2nd quarter, Mason County battled back to take a 3 point at the half and slowly pulled away in the 2nd half.

Danny Weddle posted a stat in his blog today, since the start of the 2000 season, Mason County is now 158-11 against 10th Region teams.

It's Haynes, yep, I knew if I took a second to look it up I would find it.

Wow! Mason Cnty's win-loss record against 10th region teams is an amazing stat!! Scott played most of the game without 2 starters and Mason Cnty had one injured on the bench. Also, Kellen Smith went down late in the game with an injury so the Eagles really took their share of lumps tonight. Hopefully, this team will rally and come out much stronger from the experience. It was a good game to watch and Scott played a lot of younger players that gained valuable experience. If Scott's defense improves their rotations then this could be a closer game the next time they play; if they can handle Mason's post play.

Scott had no answer for Setty or Black on the inside. Scott is undersized and doesn't really have a lot of talent but they fly around and scratch and claw and somehow make things interesting against good teams.

Anyone know the extent of Kellen's injury? Looked bad and he was in a lot of pain.

Like I said last year when many people were down on Treg Setty after the State Tourny, I knew he would have a great year. He will continue to play well!
