Does Lawrence County have any big players this year?

They have a pitcher that appears to be about 6'5". :D

Their catcher Tim Hayes is about 6' 3" 185 that will probably be the anchor of the team along with SS/P Morgan Roberts who throws mid-80's. They lost a lot of seniors last year but I dont think I would count them out just yet!

Tim Hayes will be the best catcher in the 15th this year. I saw him this fall and he is a dandy. They have a kid whose fall number was 23 who was a stud hitter. He played some short and some centerfield. Their pitching is gonna be suspect compared to Pikeville and JC but dont count them out. Randy is one of the best coaches in the state and will have them ready to play.

Good program, always a contender. I am going to miss them in the 16th.

I agree, Tim Hayes probably will be the best in the 15th but just think, he is only going to be a sophomore. He's got 3 more years left to get better. I have seen the team play and the boy you are talking about is #23 Brad Laney. He is also a gifted player that will pitch and play outfield. Lawrence is going to have about 10 or 11 sophomores and only 1 junior this year with no seniors.

You are correct Laney was the name. He was a nice player.

In fall baseball they appeared to be fairly young, but had some talent.
