The last 8 teams after China are all local Hawaii teams. Last time Mason County was here it was a round robin and not a standard tournament because of KHSAA rules regarding playing teams from other states being private and/or no part of a state high school athletic associaton, something to that effect. This one will be a regular tournament.

Here is a link to the bracket, you will see Mason County opens up against one of the Hawaii teams and could take on Mount Vernon again in the 2nd round. Lexington Catholic opens up against the team from China.

Thank holy goodness that Oak Hill is on the other side of the bracket.

I didn't realize what a national powerhouse Montverde was until I looked it up online, wow.

It will be a great experience for the Royals and the kids from Catholic, can't wait for the tournament to start.

Yeah, but you have Montverde in your bracket :)

They always have a great team, year in and year out.

Anyone interested in having minute by minute game reports can send me and I'll relay it back.......Are you kidding me Hawaii in December? Wow
