I found this while looking around on some baseball sites. It's Tom Baker's site that he has put together. It's kind of rough, but he does have some interesting info. The two I liked was "Past Amatuer Drafts" and "I've Been There". Be sure to look at these two. Here's the link:

Tom's got some great info and lots of college contacts. He's a great guy to sit and talk to during a ballgame.

Some of you better know him by "T-Bone"

You will never see T-Bone without his "old yellar" companion. That dog could probably play a little college ball himself if he had a better "arm".

...you'r right Firebird, I would imagine OY has seen many a high school baseball game, in WV and KY.

T-Bone is a great guy and the last time I visited his website, he had a lot of pictures from the day. He'll give you an honest evaluation of a player and as he puts it, "his radar gun don't lie"

Great guy and once you start playing catch with OY, you'll be doing it until the game starts. Stay healthy T-Bone, baseball needs you. :thumb:

You are right my friend.

OY gets a new tennis ball everyday. Those things sure get nasty. It's hilarious.

To me one of the reasons why baseball is the greatest game going is because unique personalities get refected maybe a little more than in other sports. T-Bone is definately unique !!! I have enjoyed spending time over the years listening to his own personal accounts and views on many subjects, as well as his thoughts on the game. He'll definately keep your attention just by T-Bone being T-Bone.

Didn't know that Tom was that well known. Usually, scouts keep to themselves or mix with the crowd somewhere. It's great to hear about a scout like Tom.

Probably more known by the kids that play baseball year round. The die hards. I know Firebird fits in that category as well as myself.

Yeah T-bone is a great guy to sit and talk to during a game. I look him up every time he shows up for a Boyd Co game just to talk and get the latest scoop on all the gossip and players around the area. He is straight up and will tell you what he thinks. And if you all think that his dog Scout is good with a tennis ball, you would really love to see him during a rain delay. If there is a mudhole anywhere on the field, you can guarantee that he will find it.
