A Knox Central win tonight would achieve the first ever 8 win regular season in KC football history. We forget that KC has only recently been an upper level team

Harlan County had five open dates two weeks ago. It wouldn't be too hard to find a week if two teams wanted to play each other.

So you've talked to Coach Larkey and he says he has contacted Coach Mills, they both have openings the same week, and KC refuses?

I'm not trying to be argumentative, I just don't understand where this stuff is coming from. KC opened the season against three straight 5A teams including Clay and Johnson Central, scheduled their district obligations including Rock and Bell. The only two games anyone could question are Williamsburg and Harlan. Williamsburg has hosted KC in their Alumni Bowl several years now (although I expect that to change next year), and as I said, Harlan City is usually a good pre-playoff tuneup.

No. I didn't talk to Larkey about Knox Central.

I know they had five open dates though and contacted "everyone in the area."

Now is the time to step and play why they can. There are no complaints about this year's schedule. I'm talking about next year and beyond.
