The Green Wave's win streak over the Cardinals extends to seven.

 

Wacky first quarter, with NC getting out to an early lead, but Meade rallying to take a 28-27 lead at the end of what was an eternal first frame. Mofield and Co. made some kind of adjustment after that, as the Cards didn't get another TD until a late score to make it the final margin.

 

Sadly, for Central Hardin fans, it won't be John who ends their undefeated dream run. After seeing both teams, Meade is a bad matchup for Central all over the field and I expect them to beat the Bruins by three scores. Mofield's mastery over the Bruins is even more impressive than his streak over NC, having never lost to them at MC.

 

For NC, backup-turned-starter Dylan Beasley did some good things tonight, and with more reps will improve his timing with receivers White, Harrison and Brooks. If the NC defense can rebound and find what it had a couple weeks ago, they can be dangerous in the playoffs on the road.

The Bardstown-Washington Co. game I listened to on the radio was almost at halftime before this one got to the end of the first quarter. Crazy stuff.

Meade County/Central Hardin next week is for the district championship. Should be a good one.

Liverman had 380 yards and it could have been even more, he had a 70 yarder and a 55 yarder called back due to holding penalties.
