Final

Not much work for the HC starters tonight.

Fuller 6 carries/185 yards 2 scores

Big Grin 7 for 11 208 yards 2 TD passes 1 TD run

I'm sure it is in an old post, but why the "Big Grin?"

I'm sure it is in an old post, but why the "Big Grin?"

I've known Jerry since he was in first grade. He is the king of the sheepish grin.

HOLY CROSS 50, LLOYD 6 – Senior Chad Fuller had six carries for 168 yards and two touchdowns in the Indians win.

Junior Paul Lampone also reached triple-figures in rushing, finishing with 113 ground yards and one score on five carries for Holy Cross.

Senior quarterback Jerry Arlinghaus only threw the ball 11 times for the Indians, but he completed seven for 204 yards and a pair of TDs.

Junior Eric Walker caught three passes for 72 yards and one touchdown, and senior Josh Jasper caught a 55-yard touchdown during Holy Cross’ 29-point second quarter.

Lloyd was led by junior Brady Asher, who ran the ball 15 times for 92 yards and the Juggernauts’ lone TD.

RECORDS: Holy Cross 3-5, 1-1 Class 2A; Lloyd 1-7, 0-2.

5 red zone trips and 1 TD, you can't beat anyone doing that. Lloyd had several time consuming drives that came up empty, then turned around and gave up a big play on defense. Just another frustrating game and now NCC this week. Im not sure what else can be said?
